Robbie D. Wood Expanding In Saraland

Birmingham-based trucking company Robbie D. Wood, Inc. has announced a new terminal to be built on Radcliff Road in Saraland. It says it will bring more than 100 jobs to the Mobile area. The family-owned and -operated trucking line specializes in the transportation of chemical products and hazardous waste. Founded 60 years ago by Robbie D. Wood, Sr., the company was led by him until 1980, when Robbie D. Wood, Jr. became CEO, a position in which he remains. The company has had a presence in Theodore since 2017.
