United Orders 70 Airbus Planes

United Airlines has placed an order for 70 of Airbus’ A321neo aircraft, a “significant number” of which are to be produced at Airbus’ U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL.com reported. The aircraft will feature customizable lighting intended to reduce jet lag, sidewall panels for extra personal space at shoulder level, completely integrated window shades, LED lighting, large overhead bins and lavatories with hygienic touchless features and antimicrobial surfaces.
