Chart Industries Expanding In Theodore

Chart Industries, Inc. has announced it will grow its operations in Theodore to increase production and capacity. This comes on the heels of an expansion in 2021 that tripled Chart’s employee roster (Chart To Invest $2.5 Million, Create 94 Jobs In Theodore). Chart makes cryogenic containers for the defense and space industries. Its new facility will be located at the Theodore Industrial Canal, allowing Chart to move containers on barges instead of transporting them on the road. “This is another example of a company investing in Mobile because of our multimodal logistics solutions,” said Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson. “Chart’s latest expansion will bring another $73 million in capital investment to the region and add 59 new jobs to the 165 they have.”
