DC Safety Named Mobile Chamber’s Manufactuer Of The Year

The Mobile Chamber of Commerce has named DC Safety its Manufacturer of the Year. Founded in Long Island, New York, in 1975, DC Safety relocated its manufacturing operations and headquarters to Theodore in 2022, becoming one of the first tenants of the South Alabama Logistics Park. The Tier 1 supplier specializes in designing, developing, manufacturing and supplying safety kits and accessories for the automotive industry. “With nearly 100 employees and a 112,000-ft2 facility, DC Safety exemplifies efficient, profitable growth and investment in the local community,” the chamber said. The city “has a wonderful quality-of-life vibe that makes it an easy sell for our team and operations,” Murphy said.
