FAME Open House Scheduled For March 3

The Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) college-accredited manufacturing/industry-specific training program in Baldwin County is holding an open house on March 3 at 4-6 p.m. at 5600-C County Road 32 in Fairhope. High school seniors or recent graduates and their parents, transitioning military members, and any other individuals looking to move into a maintenance or manufacturing career path are encouraged to attend. Attendees will be able to tour laboratories and classrooms and learn more about FAME. They will also be able to network with representatives from local industry and FAME manufacturing partners including Outokumpu; Coca-Cola; Vulcan, Inc.; Quincy Compression; Gulf Packaging, Inc.; Recovery; Collins Aerospace; Segers; Kaishan; Saunders Yachtworks; and Novelis.
