Berg Pipes Secures Large Order

Despite setbacks to many industries due to COVID-19, Berg Pipes has secured a large order through a line pipe contract, World Pipelines reported. The order will supply pipes to the Keystone XL pipeline, which will be delivering up to 830,000 barrels of crude oil per day from Alberta, Canada to Steele City, Nebraska. Though Berg will receive steel from various suppliers, the pipes will be produced at its facilities along the Gulf Coast. This order will supply hundreds of employees with work in both its Mobile location on Paper Mill Road and its Panama City, Florida, location. “We are very fortunate to not only provide continued employment at our facilities during this pandemic, but to also contribute to the extended economic and employment impact within our communities,” commented Ingo Riemer, Berg’s president and CEO.
