Threaded Fasteners Acquires Another

Mobile-based Threaded Fasteners, Inc. continues to expand, this time by acquiring RTC Threaders of Churubusco, Indiana, Business Alabama reports. RTC designs and produces Eagle threading machines, which are built to be durable and productive. They are part of RTC’s full line of planetary threaders. The company also offers a complete line of automated bar shears. RTC will continue operations in northern Indiana, serving clients throughout the U.S. and internationally. Threaded Fasteners, which has 11 locations in the U.S., including two in Alabama, now employs approximately 220. It made headlines earlier this year with acquisitions of Meridian, Mississippi-based Construction Fasteners, LLC, and a $1.7-million expansion (BBN #23 and 27).
