Danny Lipford To Retire From Today’s Homeowner

After 35 years in the media business and 25 years on national television, Danny Lipford, home improvement expert and president of Today’s Homeowner Media, has announced plans for his retirement. Lipford will turn the reins of leadership for Today’s Homeowner Media to his daughter and cohost, Chelsea Lipford Wolf, at the end of 2023. His retirement plans will have no impact on his remodeling company, Lipford Construction, based in Mobile. Lipford is shifting the business model of his media company, which will now focus on streaming and licensing its library of home improvement videos, including 25 seasons of Today’s Homeowner with Danny Lipford, digital advertising and creating fresh content for the brand’s YouTube channel, website, social platforms and Checking in with Chelsea lifestyle brand. Today’s Homeowner with Danny Lipford will continue to air episodes from its 25th season on broadcast television through September 3. Lipford will continue to host his weekly two-hour Today’s Homeowner Radio Show and “Tips for Today’s Homeowner” radio featuresthrough the end of 2023.
