Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism, the a marketing organization that promotes Alabama’s white sand beaches, has announced the appointment of Todd Walton as its new vice president (VP) of marketing. Walton will spearhead all marketing initiatives, driving brand visibility and promoting Alabama’s beaches as a top vacation destination. Throughout his career, Walton has contributed to the growth and success of organizations such as Snowsports Industries America, the Outdoor Industry Association, Crested Butte Mountain Resort and more. Walton also brings a wealth of knowledge from his time serving as a board member with the Gunnison-Crested Butte (Colorado) Tourism Association.
