Lagniappe Celebrates 20 Years, Opens Nappie Nominations

MOBILE, Ala. — Voting in the 2022 Nappie Awards nominations began this week. Users can vote once per day per category. Votes may be for any person, place or business in each respective category. Voting in the nominations will end April 3 at midnight. Then, voting in the finals will begin on May 4 at noon and run through May 25 at midnight. The winners will be announced in the July 20 issue of Lagniappe with an award ceremony on July 22 at the Saenger Theater in downtown Mobile. Lagniappe will also be celebrating its 20th anniversary at this year’s award ceremony.
