Spring Hill College Alumna Wins Cannes Film Festival Award

MOBILE, Ala. — Spring Hill College Class of 2019 alumna Marian Cook recently won a student award at the Cannes Film Festival in France for Cook’s short film, Bad Hombrewood. She produced it as part of her work at the University of Southern California and won “Best Documentary” in the “Emerging Filmmaker Showcase” at the festival’s American Pavilion.
