Autism Fundraiser Set For Pirates Cove

The Mullet Wrapper has announced the 15th Annual Autism FUNraiser for July 23-25 at Pirates Cove in Josephine. Tickets for two separate draws for Jeeps are $100 each and start at noon on July 24 and 25. They are available at Pirates Cove and at organizer High Hopes 4 Autism’s website. Only 500 raffle tickets per vehicle will be sold. Other portions of the fundraising event are an art walk featuring local artists and live music from an assortment of local musicians. It typically raises approximately $60,000 for Hopes 4 Autism and has grown since 2009. Tickets to the event are $10 per day, which is included in the price of a raffle ticket, and will go toward the nonprofit. Additionally, those interested in volunteering for the organization, which specializes in language development and social behavior therapy for school-age children, may call 251-986-7007.
