Ballin’ On Belrose Announced

The Ballin’ on Belrose fundraiser walk/race is taking place in Olde Towne Daphne on May 18. Registration opens at 7 a.m., and the race begins at 8 a.m. at Belrose Park on Belrose Avenue in Daphne. It involves a race up Belrose Avenue and culminates in a street party at the top of the hill with refreshments, music, a kids’ area and camaraderie. Belrose Avenue will be blocked off from 7 a.m. to noon on the day of the event. 68 Ventures and the Cox Family Foundation are again hosting this third-annual event, which will benefit the Baller Dream Foundation. The foundation team works to help local children and their families impacted by cancer by offering events to help raise their spirits and celebrate their lives. Organizers will be donating an additional $10,000 to the Baldwin County-based nonprofit that has the most completed laps up the hill. Registration is $25, donations are accepted, and sponsorships are available.
