Ballin’ On Belrose Is Tomorrow

The Ballin’ on Belrose fundraiser walk/race is taking place in Olde Towne Daphne on May 10. Registration opens at 7 a.m., and the race begins at 8 a.m. at Belrose Park on Belrose Avenue in Daphne. It involves a race up Belrose Avenue and culminates in a street party at the top of the hill with refreshments, music, a kids’ area and camaraderie. Belrose Avenue will be blocked off from 7 a.m. to noon on the day of the event. 68 Ventures and the Cox Family Foundation are again hosting this fourth-annual event, which will benefit the Baller Dream Foundation. The foundation team works to help local children and their families impacted by cancer by offering events to help raise their spirits and celebrate their lives. The organizers will be donating an additional $22,500 to local nonprofits with the most completed laps: $10,000 for first place, $7,500 for second place and $5,000 for third place. Regular registration is $25, nonprofit registration is $15, and donations are accepted.
