Boots & Barn Bash Coming To Moe’s Original BBQ

Children’s of Alabama will host the 12th annual Boots & BBQ Barn Bash on October 12 at Moe’s Original BBQ at 701 Spring Hill Avenue in Downtown Mobile. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and will feature barbecue, live music, line dancing and a high-energy auction. All proceeds benefit the Children’s of Alabama Pediatric Rheumatology Clinic in Mobile, which treats children across the Gulf Coast who are living with autoimmune disorders such as juvenile arthritis, lupus and scleroderma. The clinic, part of one of the largest pediatric rheumatology programs in the nation, helps provide critical care closer to home for families who would otherwise travel to Birmingham for treatment. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite boots and Western attire and enjoy an evening of community and celebration, including live music and dancing, silent and live auctions featuring unique items, and experiences and stories of impact from local patients and families. Tickets are $40, and sponsorships are available. All proceeds will directly support the pediatric rheumatology program’s local outreach, research and treatment efforts.
