Boyington Oak Mock Trial Scheduled

MOBILE, Ala. — The Mock Trial of Charles R. S. Boyington November 1834, based on Mary S. Palmer’s book Boyington Oak: A Grave Injustice, is taking place on November 5 and 6 at 2 p.m. at the Conde-Charlotte Museum Courtyard in Mobile. This location was Mobile’s first courthouse and jail, where Boyington was incarcerated. The play is directed by J.P. Sylvester, and the author will be available to sign books prior to and after the play. The cost is $20 at the door with admission to the play and tour of the museum, and tours begin early at 12:30 p.m. Reservations and questions are being taken by email and at phone: 251-661-4194.
