CoC Community Report Meeting Announced

The Homeless Coalition of the Alabama Gulf Coast has announced its annual AL-501 Continuum of Care (CoC) Community Report Meeting for June 25 at 3 p.m. at the Ben May Main Library. It is open to any individuals, community organizations, churches or government entities providing services or housing for the homeless, concerned about homelessness or interested in becoming involved in addressing and ending local homelessness. CoC serves Mobile and Baldwin counties through agency coordination and direct grants aimed at ending homelessness. Its board works with nonprofit community agencies, faith-based and public service providers to assist the homeless population, optimizing self-sufficiency among the individuals and families experiencing homelessness while providing the support they need to achieve this goal. Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP by June 22. For more information, email Tara Armbruster, chair of the CoC board.
