Columns & Cocktails Fundraiser Announced

MOBILE, Ala. — The Historic Mobile Preservation Society is holding its annual fundraiser, Columns & Cocktails, on October 20 at 6-8:30 p.m. at The Ezell House in Mobile. The historic venue, built in 1867 by Mobile Mayor Martin Horst, was selected because it exemplifies the successful adaptive reuse of a historic property. It is now owned by the Ezell family and used as an event rental space and a law office. There will be an assortment of food and entertainment and a silent auction. Funds raised will be used by the society to pursue its goal of preserving Mobile’s history through education, advocacy and heritage tourism.
