Downtown Mobile Alliance Names Rendfrey President, CEO

The Downtown Mobile Alliance has announced Fred Rendfrey as its new president and CEO. “Rendfrey, who has been with the alliance for 18 years, has played a key role in the revitalization and economic growth of Downtown Mobile,” the announcement said. Appointed by the board of directors, Rendfrey will oversee the alliance’s efforts to support economic development, historic preservation, downtown activation and more. He was appointed interim president and CEO after Elizabeth P. Stevens announced in May 2024 that she was stepping down from the position.
