Fundraiser For Gulf Shores Zoo Announced

GULF SHORES, Ala. — The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo is holding Art on the Wild Side on March 26 beginning at 7 p.m. at the zoo in Gulf Shores and via an online auction during March 21-26. The live event is a safari-themed evening party that includes food from local restaurants, drinks, live entertainment, the zoo’s animal ambassadors, live animal art demonstrations and animal art auction pieces beyond those offered at the silent auction. Tickets are $100 for zoo members and $125 for nonmembers. The online auction includes art painted by zoo animals and packages from the zoo and other local attractions. Proceeds will help the nonprofit care for more than 300 animals daily, build and enhance new and existing exhibits and more.
