Hargrove Foundation Hits Giving Milestone

The Hargrove Foundation reported it has now contributed more than $2 million to charitable causes across the country since its inception in 2012. The foundation said it is on a mission to support groups and organizations making a difference in the areas of health and human services, education, arts and culture and qualified sports activities. It hosts several events across the country each year to raise funds and awareness, including fishing rodeos, golf tournaments, auctions, block parties and an annual black-tie gala. The organization was founded after Mobile-based engineering and construction firm Hargrove realized a desire to mobilize in support of victims after the devastation from several tornadoes in northern Alabama in 2011. The company said disaster relief efforts remain paramount to its mission: it has supported victims of many flooding and hurricane disasters over the last decade, plus given $100,000 in COVID-19 relief.
