Lee Charities Launches Volunteer Switchboard

Lee Charities of Foley has launched Volunteer Switchboard, an initiative designed to connect individuals of all ages with meaningful volunteer opportunities across Baldwin County. Volunteer Switchboard serves as a centralized database to make it easy for residents to stay informed about the work of local nonprofit organizations and get involved in supporting causes that matter to them. It also helps nonprofit organizations, which can submit volunteer needs through the platform and access a broad pool of volunteers. Volunteers have full control over which opportunities they choose to pursue. Upon joining, they will receive a free “Volunteer Crew” T-shirt and periodic email updates highlighting ways to get involved. Submitted opportunities will be shared directly with members of the Volunteer Crew, helping organizations meet their volunteer needs.
