Neighborhood Bridges Expands In Eastern Shore

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. — Neighborhood Bridges, a nonprofit that facilitates direct local giving to students and families in need, recently announced the expansion of its Fairhope community into the communities of Daphne and Spanish Fort. The organization facilitates direct local giving to students and families in need by inviting professionals at schools to advocate for those in need. Advocates post needs via a secure portal that maintains recipient anonymity. Neighborhood Bridges then encourages community members to fulfill them via email and social media posts. Typical needs include grocery cards, clothing, shoes, coats, eye exams, school supplies, school fees and monetary donations for household expenses. All donations will be used locally to help students and families in need.
