Nonprofit Summit Set For July 17

The South Alabama Nonprofit Summit is taking place on July 17 at 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Spring Hill College Student Center in Mobile. Organized by the South Alabama Coalition of Nonprofits, the summit aims to provide locally organized, high-quality, affordable professional development for the nonprofit sector. Seminar tracks focus on nonprofit budgeting, policies, operations, fund development, communications, cybersecurity, and staff wellness and effectiveness. Keynote speaker Danielle Dunbar, executive director of the Alabama Association of Nonprofits, will speak on current nonprofit sector challenges during lunch. After the summit, there will be an Alabama Coastal Foundation outreach event at Iron Hand Brewing in Mobile. Registration for the summit is $65 for South Alabama Coalition of Nonprofit members and $75 for nonmembers. Sponsorships are available through June 27.
