Nonprofit Summit Set For July

TheSouth Alabama Nonprofit Summit is taking place on July 25 at 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at theUniversity of South Alabama Student Center. Afterward, there will be a free outreach event, with a portion of the proceeds from beer sold donated to the Alabama Coastal Foundation, at Iron Hand Brewing in Mobile. Organized by the South Alabama Coalition of Nonprofits, the summit aims to provide locally organized, high-quality, affordable professional development for the nonprofit sector. Seminar tracks focus on an introduction to nonprofits, fund development, communications and advanced issues. Registration is $75, which includes a light breakfast and lunch.
