Nonprofit Training Day Coming Up

The Auburn University College of Human Sciences’ Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies is partnering with the Community Foundation of South Alabama to present a day of training for nonprofits. The Cary Center Nonprofit Training Series program will take place on January 28 at 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the foundation at 212 St. Joseph Street in Mobile. Topics will include “Building a Strong Board: Recruitment, Training, and Retention Strategies”; “Ready When It Matters: Emergency Preparedness for Nonprofits”; “Future-Focused Nonprofits: Planning for Stability and Growth”; and “From Ask to Impact: Building A Sustainable Fundraising Program.” Lunch is provided, and registration is $25.
