Scouts Join Feeding The Gulf Coast For Donations

The Scouting America Mobile Area Council has partnered with Feeding the Gulf Coast and local residents and scouts of Mobile, Baldwin, Clarke and Washington counties for the annual Scouting for Food event. Scouts will strive to inspire residents to donate to Feeding the Gulf Coast, including delivery of door hangers to participating neighborhoods on October 26. Recipients were asked to fill a bag with nonperishable canned goods and leave them outside their door. On November 2, scouts will pick up the donations and drop them off at participating Greer’s locations. The food will be donated to Feeding the Gulf Coast to distribute to families in need.
