The Cookery Project’s Mac Down Returns November 1

Gulf Coast Mac Down, which celebrates the rich history, diverse culture and warm hospitality of the food scene of the South, is returning on November 1 at 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Mardi Gras Park in Mobile. Teams will cook for the chance to win the Golden Noodle Award and claim bragging rights for the South’s best mac and cheese. This family- and pet-friendly event will also include music, vendors and games. It benefits The Cookery Project’s Tackling Out of School Hunger Initiative. Tickets are $14 for ages 6 and older and free for ages 5 and younger.
