Tri-City Community Foundation Announces Grants

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. — Five organizations in Foley, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach have received grants totaling $17,300 from the nonprofit Tri-City Community Foundation of South Alabama, Gulf Coast Media reported. The South Baldwin Literacy Council, CARE House, Foley Elementary School’s Robotics in the Classroom program, Baldwin County Education Coalition and Liberty Learning Foundation are the recipients. They work in Foley, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. The foundation, which administers a collection of charitable funds established by members of the community, has awarded more than $75 million in grants to nonprofits and support programs since its founding in 1976.
