UCP Fishing Tournament Coming Up

United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile (UCP) has announced the 15th Hooked Up to Help Inshore Fishing Tournament for May 6. As in the past, the weigh-in will be at Ralph & Kacoo’s on the Causeway at 1-4 p.m. The tournament has both an adult and children (12 and under) division in which anglers will be able to enter the following fish: speckled trout, redfish, white trout, flounder, sheepshead and croaker. Tickets are being sold through Fishing Chaos this year. Anglers may register in Mobile County at Jemison’s Bait & Tackle, Quint’s Sporting Goods, Marshall Marine Supply, Tackle This Shoot That and Deer River Bait & Tackle, Southern Bama Bait & Tackle, and in Baldwin County at Hooked Up by the Bay, Boutwell’s, Fisherman’s Discount and Gulf Coast Marine. Registration is also available at UCP’s office and website. All proceeds from the event benefit UCP, which aids children and adults with a variety of disabilities. The agency provides services to more than 700 families each month through its programs.
