According to AL.com, a two-story building built circa 1865 at 157 Dauphin Street on Bienville Square in Downtown Mobile has sold for $610,000, according to James Henderson of Realty Executives Bay Group, who represented the seller. The buyer plans to use the 5,207-ft2 building for a bridal and formalwear shop. Steve Baker of Roberts Brothers represented the buyer. The Vibe Boutique Mall has opened at 1544 Gulf Shores Parkway across from Rouses in Gulf Shores and has 10 of 14 retail spaces available for lease. Tenants will include fashion retailers, beauty professionals and artists, according to Angie and David Swiger of Swiger & Co. Realtors. The boutique mall spaces are 10 by 10 ft and include water, power, trash and internet, along with alarm systems and security cameras. Watch for Water’s Edge, a six-lot neighborhood at 28633 Sampson Avenue in Orange Beach, according to Real Estate NOW, the development company. Four lots will have water access to Bay La Launch and are priced at $375,00 each. The two direct waterfront lots are priced at $1.3 million and $1.5 million, and each will have a private pier. The minimum size for homes is 2,800 ft2. Dollar General developers plan to build a 10,640-ft2 store on 1.72 acres on County Road 10 east of County Road 65 in Foley, according to the Baldwin Planning Commission. Wenzel Farm Phase 1, with 59 townhomes along Bay Street in Foley, has been approved by city planners and will soon be underway. Crimson Land Development’s future plans for Wenzel Farm calls for a 200-unit rental community on 17.5 acres on Michigan Avenue between Bay and Cypress streets. That phase will include 80 townhomes and 120 garden-style apartments.
