Baldwin County Real Estate Update

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. — Baldwin REALTORS Multiple Listing Service reports countywide year-over-year decreases of 10.7% in total sales revenue and 22.9% in total properties sold. Average Days on Market (DOM) also rose in both areas of the county, “Traditional Residential,” which saw an increase of 17.4%, resulting in an average of 27 days, and “Resort/Island-Based,” which more than doubled its DOM average, going from September 2021’s 25 days to this month’s 52 days. “Resort” reported an average sales price of $731,374, which is a 29.2% increase from September 2021. The amount of inventory added to this area of the market this month was 207 properties. “Traditional Residential” area also saw an average sales price increase of 8.6% from September 2021 at $374,946. The number of properties sold was 595, a decrease of 18.6% from last year.
