Baldwin Realtors Housing Report Released

Baldwin Realtors’ July’s housing highlights “are encouragingly similar to the months prior to COVID,” the association explained on August 7.It reports a year-over-year increase in the total number of properties sold in July for both resort and traditional residential areas, as well as an increase in sales price, which was lacking in May and June. For the Resort Area of Baldwin County, a total of 301 properties sold last month, compared to 166 in July 2019 – an 81.3% increase. Listings moved off the market at nearly the same pace in the two time periods. A total of 534 traditional residential properties in Baldwin County sold last month, compared to 453 in July 2019. In this category, July 2020 saw an average of homes 66 days on market, compared to 88 days in July 2019.
