Baldwin Realtors Shows Hot January

Baldwin REALTORS’ Multiple Listing Service reports year-over-year increases in total number of properties sold in January 2021 for both “Resort” and “Traditional Residential” areas of the county, as well as significant percentage drops for average days on market (DOM). “Resort” saw 148 properties sold last month, compared to 139 in January 2020 – a 6.5% increase. Average sales price was at an almost record high at $512,823, and average DOM decreased from January 2020, to 82 days from 97. In “Traditional Residential,” 364 properties sold last month, compared to 309 in January 2020. This month reported an all-time low of 49 DOM. Average sales price trends for the area remain consistent.
