Mike Reid, associate broker for Merrill P. Thomas Co., Inc., has leased a 3,876-ft² office/warehouse at 2463 Eslava Creek Parkway in Mobile to Southeastern Battery & EV. The landlord is Ranger Properties, LLC. The battery business has been a Simmons family tradition for more than 60 years. Southeastern Battery started the business as a wholesale distributorship, but unlike traditional battery companies, the company offers wholesale to the public, in addition to retail. Its sister company, Southeastern Carts, sells, repairs, customizes and rents golf carts. Southeastern operates in Mobile, Greater Montgomery and Orange Beach.
