In Orange Beach, developers are seeking to rezone 5.2 acres at 25431 Canal Road from “general business” to a “planned unit development” for a commercial project consisting of a 7,300-ft2 restaurant and 20,800-ft2 warehouse, according to city planning. Additionally, The Orange Beach Store owners are seeking site plan review approval to build a 7,000-ft2 building in The Shoppes at Palm Pointe at the northwest corner of Orange Beach and Perdido Beach boulevards.
