According to AL.com, a local developer paid $663,750 for almost an acre of land on Shell Street in Saraland across from Publix supermarket and plans to build a 3,700-ft2 building to house Five Guys Burgers & Fries and Tropical Smoothie Cafe, according to Robert Cook of Vallas Realty, who handled the transaction. In Bay Minette, an out-of-state investment group paid $650,000 for almost an acre at 201 McMeans Avenue, according to Crawford Stitt at White-Spunner Realty, who represented the buyer. Vallas Realty worked for the seller. In Mobile, Beez Catering has leased 1,200 ft2 of space in Piccadilly Square at 6345 Airport Boulevard, according to Chris Harle of White-Spunner Realty, who represented the landlord. Also in Mobile, Kings Grooming Lounge has leased 3,200 ft2 at 100 South Florida Street, according to Jill Meeks of Stirling Properties, who handled the transaction. Meeks also reported that Dr. Rachel Hoadley-Clausen has leased 1,200 ft2 in Grelot Commons at 6720 Grelot Road in Mobile.
