According to AL.com, Dirt Cheap has leased 21,670 ft2 of space in Southview Plaza on Highway 90 in Tillman’s Corner, according to David Dexter of CRE Mobile, who represented the landlord. Dirt Cheap will occupy space previously leased to Goodwill. Harry Bell of Bellcore Commercial represented the tenant. In Mobile, two new tenants have leased space in University Place at 820 University Boulevard, according to Jill Meeks of Stirling Properties, who handled the transactions. Eagle Market Makers has leased 2,100 ft2, and Gehret Advisors LLC has leased 1,443 ft2 in the center. In Fairhope, Chicken Salad Chick has leased 2,800 ft2 in Polo Crossing off Greeno Road, according to Herrington Realty, who handled the lease. In Daphne, Coastal Alabama Hearing has leased 1,250 ft2 in the Bay House Center at 28851 North Main Street, according to Jeff Barnes and Steadman Bethea of Stirling. Finally, the City of Gulf Shores is expected to give site plan approval to convert the Galway Public House at 2301 East 2nd Street in the Waterway Village Overlay District to a bar/lounge and four multifamily units on the top floor, according to city records. The property had been occupied by a mattress store and is under renovation.
