Steadfast City Promotes Senior Project Manager

St. Louis, Missouri-based Steadfast City Economic & Community Partners announced that Jessica Sawyer Walker has been promoted to senior project manager. Walker has worked with the company since January after eight years with the City of Fairhope and working as director of marketing and communications for various community organizations. Steadfast City describes its work as “economic and community development consultants working for the for-profit and non-profit sectors….” Steadfast City’s Develop Better approach fosters thriving communities by “performing site selection and securing economic incentives to finance development projects and business expansion”; “promoting business investment and job creation with economic development corporations, cities, chambers of commerce, and state and local governments”; Advising communities on development projects, including feasibility studies, planning studies, use of development subsidies, and community investment and reinvestment strategy”; and additional work with nonprofits.
