Goodwill Store Planned For Foley

A Goodwill store, community center and training facility is planned in Foley, which will be the agency’s largest facility in Baldwin County. The Foley Planning Commission recently voted to approve a site plan review for the new store. The facility will be located on an 8.4-acre site on the south side of East Azalea Avenue near the intersection of South Cypress Street. It was purchased for $1,062,500 in a transaction represented by E. Bradford Ladd Jr., vice president of Sales & Leasing, for Roberts Brothers Commercial & Property Management, Inc. The center will include a 50,000-ft2 multipurpose building that will include a retail store, bargain store, community resource center and warehouse. It will also be a training center for Goodwill services in the area. Goodwill now operates centers in Fairhope and Spanish Fort. Goodwill Gulf Coast serves 10 counties in Southwest Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
