Region’s First Aldi Opens In Tillman’s Corner

MOBILE, Ala. — The region’s first Aldi store opened at 5021 Rangeline Crossing Drive in Mobile on March 3, according to AL.com and other sources. The store will be open from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. seven days a week. The German company has many other plans in South Alabama, including a distribution center in Loxley (BBN #28, 40 and 80), as well as two additional locations on Airport Boulevard and Schillinger Road in Mobile, according to FOX10. According to Aldi, the $100-million distribution center will eventually support as many as 100 new stores throughout Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and the Florida panhandle.
