26th Annual Charity Golf Classic To Be Held In August

 The Providence Foundation will host the 26th Annual Charity Golf Classic on August 21 at Lakewood Golf Course in Point Clear. Proceeds from the event will directly support patient care initiatives at USA Health Providence Hospital. Tee-off is at 9 a.m., followed by a post-tournament lunch and awards ceremony at 2 p.m. featuring door prizes and the announcement of the day’s winners. The tournament follows a four-person scramble welcoming golfers of all skill levels. Each player will receive a Peter Millar gift package, and mulligans can be purchased online in advance or in person on the day of the event. The sponsorship deadline is August 11 and the registration deadline is August 20.
