Baldwin County To Participate In International Walk/Roll To School Day

On October 2, schools in Baldwin County will join a global movement for International Walk and Roll to School Day. Leading this effort is the Baldwin County Safe Routes to School Coalition, which includes the Baldwin County Trailblazers, the Eastern Shore Metropolitan Planning Organization, the Baldwin County Commission, the Baldwin County Legislative Delegation, education foundations and all three public school systems. The coalition promotes safe, active transportation and works to enhance community well-being. Schools participating in International Walk and Roll to School Day are Daphne Elementary, Daphne East Elementary, Bay Minette Elementary, Summerdale School, Florence B. Mathis Elementary, Fairhope West Elementary, Fairhope East Elementary, Orange Beach Elementary, Gulf Shores City Schools and St. Patrick Catholic School.
