Carnival Returning To Mobile Year-Round

The City of Mobile and Carnival Cruise Line have announced the cruise line’s resumption of year-round operations from the Port of Mobile beginning in spring 2027. The city said that, as one of the highest-rated ports for customer experience and satisfaction, Mobile has continued to strengthen its relationship with Carnival and invest in the passenger facilities at the cruise terminal, most recently with a new gangway. Carnival has been offering multiple itineraries and destinations aboard the Carnival Spirit, which has been sailing from the Port of Mobile six months of the year since 2023. The ship is set to return for sailings in October and resume its regular seasonal schedule. Carnival has not yet announced which of its ships will call Mobile home once year-round sailings begin in spring 2027. The return of a year-round schedule is part of Carnival’s commitment to remain accessible to 50% of the U.S. population living within a 5-hour drive of a Carnival homeport. Mobile routinely draws passengers from across the Southeast.
