City Of Mobile Dedicates Frederick D. Richardson Tricentennial Park

The City of Mobile recently held a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony for the newly renamed "Frederick D. Richardson Tricentennial Park." Former Councilman Richardson spent 25 years serving the citizens of District 1 and all Mobilians from his seat on the Mobile City Council. His tenure on the council ran from 1997 until 2021, and he helped steer the city through challenging and prosperous times. From the annual MoonPie Over Mobile event to the creation of the city’s Capital Improvement Program, Councilman Richardson’s legacy continues in Mobile, the city said.
