Construction Begins On New Restrooms At Foley Park

Construction is underway on new restrooms in Foley’s central downtown park that will provide more than twice the space than the current facility. The new restrooms will have 813 ft2 of interior space. The project also includes a 200-ft2 porch and approximately 900 ft2 of concrete paving outside the planned buildings. The building is being constructed at John B. Foley Park in the center of the Downtown Historic District. The current restroom building is 300 ft2. The existing facility, located next to the Foley Welcome Center on the northeast corner of North McKenzie Street and East Laurel Avenue, will remain in operation until the new restroom building opens.
