Cooper Riverside Park Expected To Reopen In Summer 2026

Cooper Riverside Park is in the home stretch to reopen after being closed for nearly two years, FOX 10 News reports. The $13-million project upgraded the park’s wharf, bulkhead and underground infrastructure. Much of the concrete has been poured. New features include new walking paths and seating for visitors, and landscapers are working to prepare the park for hosting large events and serving as a gathering place. The reopening comes as other developments are underway, including a new arena, Amtrak service, an expanding cruise industry and the recently opened Walk of Fame. Work is on track to reopen the park late this summer.
