Jeff Lee, director of the Foley Parks and Recreation Department, said the project will expand the opportunity to use the facilities at the southwest Foley park. In August, the City Council voted to replace the pavilion and the restroom building at the park. The new prefabricated restroom building will improve compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act at the site. The city also approved replacing some fencing at the baseball field.
