Foley’s Aaronville Park To Get New Lighting

New lighting systems will illuminate recreation areas at Aaronville Park following action by the Foley City Council’s approval of plans to add lighting to baseball and basketball areas. The system will be purchased through Musco Sports Lighting. Jeff Lee, director of the Foley Parks and Recreation Department, said the project will expand the opportunity to use the facilities at the southwest Foley park. In August, the City Council voted to replace the pavilion and the restroom building at the park. The new prefabricated restroom building will improve compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act at the site. The city also approved replacing some fencing at the baseball field.
