Greer’s/Goodwill Gulf Coast Golf Tournament Set For May 14

Goodwill Gulf Coast has announced the 37th annual Greer’s/Goodwill Gulf Coast Golf Tournament, set to take place on May 14 at Magnolia Grove Golf Course in Mobile. Sponsored by Greer’s Markets, the event will bring together local business and community leaders to enjoy a day of golf while supporting Goodwill’s mission of service to the community. Participants will experience a round of golf, a hole-in-one competition to win a new car, raffle prizes, and breakfast and lunch. Proceeds will help fund Goodwill Gulf Coast’s services and programs, which provide education, skills training, early childhood development and employment opportunities for individuals in need. The tournament was founded in 1990 by Mitt and Sara Boyd in honor of their grandson, David Boyd Cox, along with members of the Greer family including Jack Greer and Bartee Greer. Businesses and individuals interested in supporting Goodwill Gulf Coast through the golf tournament can visit goodwillgulfcoast.org or contact Tony Zodrow, vice president of marketing and development, at phone: 251-656-2998.
